Where Counseling, Wellness, and Connection Come Together
A Place to Pause, Connect, and Begin Again
Bloom is a counseling and wellness practice built around the belief that healing is not linear and it doesn’t happen in isolation. We created Bloom to be a place where individuals can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel grounded, compassionate, and sustainable.
Our approach integrates individual counseling with mind–body wellness, recognizing the deep connection between emotional health, the nervous system, and the body. Services at Bloom are rooted in evidence-informed practices and offered within a collaborative, client-centered framework. You set the pace. We walk alongside you, honoring your goals, boundaries, and process.
The environment itself is part of the care. Bloom was intentionally designed to feel calm, welcoming, and safe because emotional healing often begins before a single word is spoken. From the light and layout to the quiet, thoughtful details throughout the growing space, everything is meant to support regulation, presence, and connection. Bloom exists to hold space for meaningful growth, gentle restoration, and the ongoing process of becoming.
Bloom. A space for becoming.

Our Philosophy of Care and Connection
At Bloom, we believe meaningful healing begins with safety, choice, and compassion. Our work is rooted in the understanding that every person’s story is unique, and there is no single path forward that fits everyone. We approach counseling and wellness with curiosity rather than judgment, and with respect for each individual’s pace, boundaries, and lived experience.
Care at Bloom is collaborative and client-centered. You are never pushed, rushed, or directed toward a predetermined outcome. Instead, we work alongside you—offering guidance, insight, and evidence-informed tools while honoring your autonomy and sense of control throughout the process. Growth is most sustainable when it happens in partnership.
We also recognize the deep connection between mind and body. Many emotional patterns are held not only in thoughts, but in the nervous system itself. Our philosophy reflects this awareness, integrating approaches that support regulation, presence, and reconnection. Whether through counseling, wellness practices, or the environment itself, Bloom exists to help create the conditions where healing can gently take root.
Where Counseling, Wellness, and Connection Come Together
A Practice Shaped by Experience and Intention
Bloom was created out of years of clinical work, deep listening, and a belief that healing spaces should feel as thoughtful as the care offered within them. After working exclusively in private practice for nearly a decade, Bloom’s founder, Dori Larrivee, envisioned a place that could hold both meaningful therapeutic work and the quieter, often unseen parts of the healing process.
Dori’s work is shaped by extensive professional training and lived understanding of how people respond to stress, loss, and trauma. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative—rooted in the belief that people already carry wisdom within themselves, even when it feels inaccessible. Bloom exists to help create the conditions where those parts can safely re-emerge.
Throughout her work, Dori has seen how powerful it can be for people to feel genuinely understood and unhurried. Bloom reflects that intention. It is a practice built around presence, autonomy, and respect for the complexity of each person’s experience—offering support without pressure, and care without a need to rush toward resolution.
Bloom is a practice shaped by experience, presence, and care.
